And if we’re to see la vie en rose, why not start with wearing it? This season, we’re finally abandoning black to outline figures in colours which reflect our moods. Pastels in three ways

A little softness… On a raw canvas: Baby colours blend with our wardrobe fearlessly by pairing them with a strong pastel piece – a delicate chiffon blouse or a vinyl trench coat – with our faithful raw or white denim, for a graphic silhouette worthy of a watercolour.
The sugar-coated look… Without stomach-ache: For a happy marriage with pastels, opposites attract – mimosa and sky blue, lilac and pistachio, powder pink and azure… We shift the whole outfit with a pair of trainers with sole wedges or big boots. A princess look but not over the top.
Raise the flag… Even at the office: While the tailoring trend is at the forefront of Fashion Weeks, the suit is more pop than ever. Blue azure, peach pink or soft green, there is no shortage of arguments for softening our daily lives.
