The Prince of Prints
Descendant from a family of Italian artistocrats, Emilio Pucci di Barsento became a fashion designer by coincidence. In 1947, as a professional skier, he designed a ski suit for one of his friends, who was spotted by Toni Frissell, a photographer for Harper’s Bazaar. Frissell commissioned Emilio Pucci to design several garments and accessories for a photoshoot. The young designer opened his first boutique in Capri, before moving to Florence, in the family palace. From Jackie Onassis to Sophia Loren, from Nicole Kidman to Sarah Jessica Parker, Pucci’s psychedelic prints have become a must-have.
Ready-to-wear and accessories for Women and Men.
