Inspired by Fellini's films and the sewing machines in her mother's workshop, Alberta Ferretti naturally embarked on a career in fashion. She was only 18 when she opened her first boutique in her hometown on the Adriatic coast, then launched her eponymous label in 1974. An Italian queen with incredible charisma, she offers women a wardrobe where flowing dresses are worn with baroque-inspired coats. Exuding femininity with grandeur and audacity, Alberta Ferretti has made her mark on the international fashion scene.
