Determined to build her own destiny, Helena Rubinstein left her native Poland for Australia, carrying in her suitcase a cold cream prepared by her mother. With the help of a doctor, the entrepreneur refined the family recipe and developed her first face cream. Combining science and beauty, Helena Rubinstein was the first to classify skin types and offer treatments tailored to each one. In 1920, she launched her eponymous brand.
