In 1978, Alex Flamant took over his father's antique shop. A visionary, he displayed antique pieces alongside reproductions of furniture and then decorative objects of all kinds. These unexpected combinations made the brand a success, and it became a global benchmark for Belgian design. Joined by his two brothers, the Flamant siblings opened several shops around the world and developed a bespoke furniture, paint and wallpaper service.
