Gold and Silver
On February 1, 1966, Paco Rabanne unveiled its first collection, titled “The 12 Unwearable Dresses.” Conceived as works of art, the young Spanish designer brought these dresses to life by combining metal plates and Rhodoïd sequins, a futuristic aesthetic that would become the designer’s signature. Avant-garde and singular, Paco Rabanne never ceased to impose his experimental vision of fashion by creating sparkling, sensual, and bold pieces. A feminine and electric house, Rabanne plays with prints, contrasts, and silhouettes.
