Emily Oberg could never have imagined that a simple mood board would give rise to one of fashion’s most talked-about brands. While working as an editor at Complex magazine in New York, the Canadian creative began collecting vintage sportswear imagery. A curated series of photographs, an Instagram post, and a first collection later, Sporty & Rich emerged as the new icon of elevated, comfortable sportswear. Inspired by Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and Princess Diana, the brand revives the spirit of the ’90s while celebrating the art of wellness.
