Leaving his art studies behind, Rick Owens began his career as a pattern cutter for a niche Los Angeles label. It was there that he met Michèle Lamy, who would become his muse and partner, both behind the scenes and in the spotlight.

In 1994, the Californian designer founded his eponymous label, radically shaking up the fashion landscape of the time. Far removed from conventional cuts, Rick Owens reshapes the silhouette through a futuristic vision infused with underground influences.

With theatrical runway shows and spectacular creations, Rick Owens pushes the boundaries of fashion into the realm of the fantastical.
