Eric Bompard, a born entrepreneur, embarked on an initiatory journey to the steppes of Inner Mongolia in 1985 to discover cashmere. There, he met a local entrepreneur who revealed the art of harvesting and weaving the silky, dense down of the Capra Hisca goat. Thus, Maison Bompard was born, driven by a desire to build and sustain a philosophy of style: exceptional materials, timeless cuts, and mastery of color.
