Growing up at the foot of the Italian Alps, Francesco Ilorini Mo developed a strong connection with natural materials, particularly wool. His entrepreneurial spirit and keen vision caught the attention of two major industrialists in his native region, with whom he founded Lanerie Agnona in 1953. A modern-day Marco Polo, the young man travelled the world from Peru to Mongolia to source the finest natural materials, which he supplied to leading fashion houses. Agnona now designs its own collections, combining excellence, subtlety and relaxed elegance.
