Diamonds for Every Day

Day or night, at the office or on vacation, some jewelry becomes a second skin. Timeless, easy to wear and never out of style, these pieces sit on the wrist, slip onto the fingers, nestle in the hollow of the neck and hang from the ears without a fuss. At Arlettie, our jewelry pick is Tiffany & Co., the iconic jeweler whose designs are recognizable at first glance.

Like Elizabeth Taylor, who dressed up her evening gowns with a beautiful pair of earrings, we’re sharing our tips for wearing diamonds every day.

Arlettie’s tips

  • On the wrist: Simple and effective, the elegant Tiffany bracelet in yellow, white or rose gold looks as good with jeans and a shirt as it does with evening wear. Delicate with a long dress, feminine with a masculine suit!
  • On the fingers: With rings, more is more. Stack thin bands, mix metals, and bring in the bigger pieces for a modern, feminine take on wedding bands.
  • At the neck: Mix your lengths. With a slightly unbuttoned shirt, a Tiffany pendant dresses up the neckline, while a short necklace wakes up a plain crew-neck tee.
  • On the ears: Studs, XL hoops or long bar earrings. Wear them as a pair to dress up a classic turtleneck, or a single one to soften a boyish look.
  • Rose gold, every day: Delicate rose gold is very easy to wear daily. The good news is that it suits almost every skin tone and mixes happily with other metals. Worth serious consideration.
