A sophisticated and fanciful shoe artist, Roger Vivier collects adjectives as signature models. The beautiful story started in the 30s when Mr Vivier made tailor-made shoes for Mistinguett and Joséphine Baker. After the war, his career took off as he worked for the most famous women. The years go by and the heels walk the runway: ball, needle, comma, shock... All as collaborations with big fashion houses such as Dior and Saint Laurent.
