We waited, admired and the interpreted, Paris Fashion Week has made our dreams come true. From the Dior botanical garden, to the Saint Laurent Eiffel Tower catwalk, not to mention the Parisian roofs recreated by Chanel … At Arlettie, we were captivated!

It’s time to get caught up on all the news. And this year, fashion is much more anchored in everyday life with refined collections and infinitely sophisticated details. The environment was at the forefront of everyone’s minds – from responsible decorations to recycled fabrics, designers were fully committed.

A closer look at summer 2020 trends

Short shorts: Great catwalk must-haves, shorts will run the streets in summer. From Chanel to Chloé via Saint Laurent, legs are out and on show, with or without tights.
The neo-bourgeoisies look: Shown with ascot neck collars and Heidi Slimane blouses at Céline, balloon skirts and Tweed print at Chanel, not forgetting the extra-large puffed sleeves on Valentino’s deconstructed shirts.
Tailored: Redesigned in increased volumes, the suit jacket and trousers can be worn above or in multiple layers. Coloured at Balmain and Lanvin, black and sequined at Saint Laurent, they’ve also been seen at Chloé, Miu Miu and Céline in sophisticated and increasingly feminine versions.
The seventies look: Dresses embroidered with flowers at Dior, lace and crochet bags at Isabel Marant, long bohemian dresses at Saint Laurent… The 70’s are back…
Accessories: XL bags sweep away mini bags. At the end of the catwalks, all the boots and accessories are gold.
